Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) has a highly diverse chain structure with a combination of both small and large side chains.  The density of LDPE ranges between 910-940 kg/m3.  LDPE exhibits a high flexibility and retention of properties at low temperatures. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) offers good corrosion resistance and low moisture permeability. It is used for strong, flexible consumer items such as screw caps and lids for bottles.  LDPE is also commonly found in consumer packing, bags, bottles, and liners.
